BACCN: West Midlands

Welcome to our Regional pages.

There have been some changes to the regional committee in the last few months, the greatest of which is that Maggie Horner has now retired.

Maggie was a founder member of the committee in 1987 following a 'prod' from a medical colleague who had been to a conference and felt that we should have a West Midlands Region.

Maggie has held several key posts over the years including secretary and chairperson; she has given her time tirelessly to meetings, organising and hosting study events and she will continue supporting local events where possible.

Maggie will be missed by us all and indeed, everyone at BACCN.

Welcome to two new enthusiastic members to the committee; Marian Warner and Amy Horton. Contact details are on the Committee page.

There are a few places left for the Organ Donation study evening on March 16th - please get your bookings in as soon as possible.

The next date for your diary will be April 14th and will be about the work of the West Midlands CARE Team - more details to follow.

This years BACCN National Conference is 13-14 September 2010 entitled 'Taking Pride in Practice' and the call for papers has now been made. Further details on the main BACCN website.
