BACCN 25th Anniversary
The BACCN is celebrating 25 years as a proactive and influential organisation. Events are occurring each month throughout the year from January to December 2010 although our official birthday date is at conference, which is on September 13th & 14th at the seaside resort of Southport. This year's conference title, 'Taking Pride in our Practice' was designed with this in mind as we are proud of what we have, currently are and will continue to achieve in the next 25 years for critical care. Both as National Board in terms of strategic organisation activity on a national, international, educational and political perspective but also with yourselves as our members and regional committees delivering support, advice and education to acute and critical care professionals the length and breadth of the country.
Our Birthday events have been planned to capture the heart and soul of the BACCN membership. Through a variety of competitions and activities we have a range of opportunities for members to receive gifts and prizes that embrace this year's second catch phrase from that famous chocolate bar... To work rest and play.
From text books to spa & adrenaline days, IPods to conference fees as well as BACCN fob watch gifts for our 2010 new joiners and our longer standing committee members: we have planned something for everyone to help us say thank you for all your support and commitment.
There will also be something extra special for conference delegates this year along with an all star gala dinner and huge birthday cake. We have summarized these events into the calendar below; each month further details will appear in our e-newsletter and on the website giving full details of how you can enter.
We hope you get involved and enter as many of the activities or events /competitions as you can. Remember you must submit your entry before the deadlines with your BACCN Membership No. And as always you have to be in it to win it so its members only I'm afraid.
